Sugar Creek Western SectionThe 2017 float will launch from the Old Coke Plant launch site in Crawfordsville and end at the Bachner Nature Preserve: a 7.5 mile trip. Bring water, sunscreen and insect repellent. We will stop for a lunch/snack break about noon.

Attendees providing their own canoe/kayak, or with large families, should drop off all gear and passengers at the launch site at 8:30 a.m. Cars and trucks will then be driven to Bachner Nature Preserve (exit point), with a shuttle service awaiting to transport you back to the launch. The float will begin promptly at 10 a.m. and end around 2 p.m.

Friends of Sugar Creek do have a waterproof map available for purchase for $1.00.
