The weather is starting to cool and that means Fall is just around the corner!  Montgomery County is ready to help you enjoy the season.

Enjoy an Oktoberfest weekend in Historic Downtown Crawfordsville. Partake in the German Mug Slide, the Brat Toss, and the Stein Hoist Competition.

Walk on trails at Shades State Park where the beautiful sandstone cliffs overlook Sugar Creek.

Take a tour at one of our museums and learn about the author of the famous book Ben Hur or how John Coffee came to be hung at The Rotary Jail.

Spend a Saturday morning at the Farmer’s Market located on West Pike Street.

Make it a family outing at Oak Hill Tree Farm during October. Picking your own pumpkins, gourds, and zip down the 200-foot slide.
