Have a desire for excitement and adventure? Montgomery County has several options for you to get your adrenaline pumping.

Get your canoe or kayak rental from Clement’s Canoes or Sugar Creek Campground and take a lovely scenic route on Sugar Creek. Grab your hiking boots and take a hike or run on Trail #2 at Shades State Park. This trail is a moderately trafficked loop that features a waterfall and is 2.1 miles in length.

If you want to keep it more low key bring your bike for a nice 4.5 mile trail ride on the Sugar Creek Community Trail. The Nucor Bridge takes you over scenic Sugar Creek into peaceful Biggs Bluff where the trail ends.

For the blood pumping big adventurer, take a tree top canopy tour at Indiana Zipline Tours. The 8 ziplines, swinging bridge, scenic walks, and Indiana’s longest zipline will offer you a thrill of a lifetime!
