Special Art Gallery Exhibition Opening in Crawfordsville

Athens Arts, a nonprofit art gallery in Crawfordsville, will host the prestigious opening of “[untitled] 3 a national juried exhibition” on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 6-8:30pm. The exhibit will run through November 11.

Fifty-two artists representing 25 states have been selected from over 200 entires. The two-dimensional mediums use oil, watercolor, acrylic fiber, charcoal, glass, colored pencil, digital or mixed media. Three-dimensional pieces use some form of wood, fiber, metal, glass, ceramic or mixed media. The variety of styles range from traditional to contemporary and abstract. In total, 68 pieces will be displayed in the exhibition and available for purchase.

Tickets are on sale now for the opening reception on September 16. Your $50 admission includes art, music and culinary delights. An exclusive signature cocktail, wine and beet will also be available. During the event, the award winners of the juried exhibition will be announced, and their work displayed. Aside from the opening reception, admission is free to see the exhibit.

Athens Arts Gallery hours are Thursdays and Fridays, 10am-6pm, and Saturdays 10am-2pm. The gallery is located at 216 E. Main Street in downtown Crawfordsville, Indiana.
