Taste of Montgomery County & Ironman National Events Combine for a Great Weekend

When three big events land on the same weekend, it is a win-win for visitors and residents alike! And, it is happening the weekend of August 25-27 in Crawfordsville. The Finish Line Festival Community Day kicks off the weekend with free fan events at Ironman Raceway. The main event, The Ironman National, is the season finale of the 2023 Pro Motocross Championship that will roar around the Ironman Raceway track. On the same weekend, The Last of Montgomery County is the gathering of the best-of-the-best local food and drink under a shady canopy surrounding General Law Wallace Study & Museum. Live music will be headlined by The Voice winner, Josh Kaufman. Reserve all three days because you” want to experience them all!

Finish Line Festival Community Day, Ironman Raceway

Friday, August 25, 6:30 – 8:30pm

The annual Finish Line Festival Community Day is FREE to attend at the Ironman Raceway from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. The first 100 people through the gates will receive a free t-shirt. Come hungry for pizza and ice cream, while the live DJ creates a festive vibe. For the kids, inflatables and carnival games will be set up and ready for play. Register to win tickets, super passes, pit passes and cool fan gear. It’s a great way to drop the green flag on an exciting weekend!

10th Annual Ironman National, Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, August 25, 26 & 27

Officially sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, the Ironman National is the season finale of the 2023 Pro Motocross Championship. Mud will fly as the motocross machines attack the hilly dirt track and challenging obstacles. Whether cheering in the grandstands or fist pumping from Open Air Festival seating, you won’t miss a moment of excitement with all the open nightlines. State of the art sound system, radio simulcast, easy parking, clean bathrooms and plenty of concessions will make this a moto-must-go! Onsite camping is also available.

Josh Kaufman, The Voice winner will headline

There is no need to search for a restaurant after a day at Ironman Raceway. Bring a chair or sit at a picnic table at the Taste of Montgomery County for toe-tapping entertainment and the best of local food. The yummy smells will overtake you as you pass booth after booth of local favorites. You’ll find tenderloins, pizza, BBQ, cheeseburgers, lobster and shrimp dishes, noodles, togas, tamales, egg rolls and sushi, just to name a few. Thirsty? In between bites, be royally entertained by an impressive lineup of bands and musicians performing all day! In fact, The Voice winner, Josh Kaufman, will be the headliner and takes the stage from 8 – 10pm. Be captivated by his soulful sound as he sings Truth Be Told, Set Fire to the Rain, I Can’t Make You Love Me and Stay With Me.

During the weekend of August 25, three exciting events come to Crawfordsville. It’s where motocross excitement meets a community smorgasbord of great food and entertainment. Experience them all!

Formerly known as the Ben-Hur Museum, the General Lew Wallace Study and Museum is a national Historic Landmark celebrating the life and legacy of Crawfordsville resident Lew Wallace, Civil Way Major General, diplomat, inventor and author of the masterpiece, “Ben-Hur”. Open for guided and self-guided walking tours.
